Common Ground Salad

Ingredients

4 cups green leaf lettuce chopped or torn, or 4 cups mixed baby greens
2 carrots peeled and shredded
1/2 cucumber peeled, halved, and sliced into half moons
1 cup shredded or finely chopped red cabbage
alfalfa sprouts to taste
2 tablespoons toasted sunflower seeds (to toast, put on a baking tray in oven at 375 degrees for a couple of minutes, shaking tray occasionally)

Directions:

Combine lettuce, carrots, cucumber, and cabbage in large salad bowl. Top with sprouts and toss in sunflower seeds. Drizzle outer perimeter of salad with dressing. Toss gently. Taste to adjust dressing as necessary.
