Chicken and Potatoes

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter or margarine melted
1/4 cup dried minced onion
1 (16-ounce) package frozen hash brown potato
1 (8-ounce) can (or larger) cooked chicken drained
1 (10 3/4-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup condensed
1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup Cheddar cheese grated
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup Nabisco Cheese Nips Crackers

Directions:

In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients except half of the cracker crumbs. Transfer to a greased 3 1/2 to 5-quart slow cooker. Top with remaining cracker crumbs. Cover and cook on high heat 3-4 hours or on low heat 6-8 hours. Makes 4~6 servings.

Serve with mixed-fruit ambrosia (slices of orange, grapefruit, banana, strawberry, and apple tossed with coconut).
