Streusel Coffee Cake

2 cups graham cracker crumbs (approximately 15 graham crackers)
3/4 cup chopped nuts
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 (18-ounce) package yellow cake mix
1 cup water
1/4 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
1 cup powdered sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons water


Preheat oven to 350°. Grease and flour a 9x13x2-inch pan. Combine crumbs, nuts, brown sugar, cinnamon, and butter. Mix and set aside. Mix the cake mix, water, oil, and eggs in a large mixer bowl on low speed until moistened. Beat 3 minutes on medium speed, scraping sides occasionally.

Put 1/2 batter into pan; sprinkle with 1/2 crumbs. Top with remaining batter in an even layer. Top with remaining crumbs. Bake 38–45 minutes in a 350° oven or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool.

Combine ingredients, adding more water to reach consistency for drizzling over cake.
