French Bread with Cheese

Ingredients

1 long loaf French bread
1 (8-ounce) package sliced Swiss cheese, cut into thirds
1/2 cup margarine, softened
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1/4 cup minced onion
2 tablespoons poppy seeds
2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375°. Cut bread into individual servings by slicing almost all the way through the loaf vertically. Place cheese between bread slices. Combine margarine, mustard, onion, and poppy seeds. Spread top and sides of bread with mixture. Place loaf in a foil “boat” and top with bacon. Bake 15 minutes.
