Shaker Tomato Soup


Serves: 6

Ingredients

1 small onion, chopped
1/2 cup finely chopped celery
2 tablespoons butter
1 (10 3/4-ounce) can tomato soup
1 soup can water
1 teaspoon finely chopped parsley
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon sugar
salt and pepper to taste
whipped cream, unsweetened, for garnish
parsley

Directions:

Sauté onion and celery in butter until onion looks transparent. Add tomato soup, water, parsley, lemon juice, sugar, salt and pepper. Simmer 5 minutes. Celery will remain crisp. Top with unsweetened whipped cream and chopped parsley.
