Bean Soup

Ingredients

1 (2-pound) bag Great northern beans
2 cups diced ham
1 (46-ounce) can beef broth
1 large onion, chopped
2 cups diced celery
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Soak beans in water overnight; drain and rinse beans. In large kettle, combine soaked beans, ham, beef broth, onion, celery, and enough water to cover mixture. Salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil, then simmer 3 hours, adding a little more water if needed.
