Beat egg whites until stiff; gradually add sugar, then the vanilla. Fold in dry ingredients. Spread in 9-inch pie pan. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
Combine strawberries and Cool Whip. Spread over cooled crust. Refrigerate 4 hours or more before serving.
