Pizza Dip

Ingredients

1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (14-ounce) jar pizza sauce
1/3 cup onion, chopped
1 1/2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
1 (6-ounce) can ripe olives, drained and chopped
2 ounces sliced pepperoni, chopped

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°. Press cream cheese in bottom of 9-inch glass pie pan. Spread pizza sauce over cream cheese and layer remaining ingredients in order listed. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Serve with light corn chips.


Fun Fact: Ácoma Pueblo, founded about AD 1100, is possibly the oldest continuously inhabited settlement in the United States. Perched atop a sandstone mesa that rises 357 feet above the valley floor, it is also known as Sky City. The location was chosen for protection from marauding enemies, but the incredible beauty of its panoramic view may have been an added reason. It is located 84 miles west of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
