Banana Bars

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup margarine, softened
1 cup sour cream
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups mashed bananas
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Butter Frosting:
1/4 cup margarine
2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoons milk

Directions:

Heat oven to 375°. Grease and flour jellyroll pan. Mix sugar, margarine, sour cream, and eggs for 1 minute. Beat in bananas and vanilla. Beat in flour, soda, and salt for 1 minute. Stir in nuts. bake 20–25 minutes. Cool and frost with butter Frosting.

Butter Frosting:
Heat margarine over medium heat until lightly brown. Remove from heat and mix in powdered sugar. Beat in vanilla and milk until smooth.
