Apple Squares

Ingredients

2 eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup oil
3 fresh apples, peeled and sliced thin
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons dry yeast granules
3 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1 (6-ounce) package butterscotch chips or morsels

Directions:

Combine eggs, sugar, and oil; beat well. Add apples, salt, soda, yeast, cinnamon, nutmeg, flour, and nuts. Mix well. Place in greased 9x13x2-inch pan. Cover with butterscotch morsels. bake in 325° oven for 45 minutes. Cut into squares; serve with ice cream.
