Ingredients

3/4 cup self-rising flour
1 teaspoon powdered sugar
2 tablespoons shortening
1/3 cup buttermilk

Directions:

Combine flour and powdered sugar; cut in shortening with a fork. Stir in buttermilk until it forms into a ball. If dough is sticky, sprinkle with flour until it's not sticky. Pat out 1/2-inch thick in a small non-stick skillet. Cook over medium-low until edges are dry and bottom is golden. Turn over and cook until golden on bottom.
