Combine bread cubes, melted butter, raisins and cinnamon in an ungreased 2-quart casserole dish; set aside. In a separate bowl, stir eggs and brown sugar together until sugar is dissolved. Add milk and vanilla; mix together thoroughly and pour over bread mixture. Sprinkle nutmeg over the top. Bake at 350 degrees for about 35 minutes, or until a knife inserted into center comes out clean.
