Thin Butter Toast


Serves: 4

Ingredients

4 slices bread chilled
3 tablespoons butter softened

Directions:

Holding each slice of bread flat on cutting board with palm of hand, cut bread into two slices with sharp French or serrated knife. Spread each thin slice with softened butter (or margarine). Just before serving, broil until golden brown and crisp.
