Ingredients

1 loaf frozen white bread dough
1/2 cup butter melted

Directions:

Allow bread dough to thaw in refrigerator overnight. Cut in half lengthwise, then crosswise into six pieces, making 12 pieces in all. Roll pieces of dough in melted butter or margarine and arrange 1 1/2 inches apart on baking sheet. Cover lightly and allow to rise for 2 to 4 hours. Bake at 375 degrees F. 20 minutes or until golden brown and crusty. Makes 12 rolls.

Variation
Bundt Rolls: One-half cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, melted, 2 loaves frozen whole wheat or white bread dough, almost but not quite thawed. Pour melted butter or margarine into a 10-inch Bundt pan brush butter or margarine over entire inside of pan. On lightly floured board, cut partially frozen bread into 1/2-inch slices. Dip both sides of bread slices into melted butter, then stand slices up on end, one against the other, around the pan, accordion fashion. Cover lightly and allow to rise about 2 hours or until dough rises nearly to top of pan. Bake at 375 degrees F. for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Turn out immediately and serve hot, pulling roll slices out with fingers. Makes 8 servings.
