   12 or 24 cupcakes baked in paper liners
   1 1/2 cups fluffy frosting prepared from a mix or Old-Fashioned Fluffy Frosting or Chocolate Buttercream Frosting
   Vanilla wafers or other small (2-inch) cookies or 1 1/2 -inch squares of graham crackers
   Gumdrops or jelly beans
   Candy-coated chocolate candies, candy-coated chocolate-covered peanuts, or candy of your choice
   Red or black licorice whips

To prepare the cupcakes: Frost each cupcake with about 2 tablespoons of frosting.

To make animals: Make a face of any animal you chose on the top of each cupcake. Some simple animals are a mouse, bear, cat or raccoon. To make ears, use any small cookie of your choice and stick into the frosting. To make a nose, use a cookie for a snout or try a gumdrop or jelly bean. To make eyes, use small candies. To make a mouth, use small pieces of licorice whips.
