Applesauce And Squash Scallop

1 3/4 cups applesauce sweetened
1 (12-ounce) package squash,frozen, thawed
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
2 eggs beaten
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg ground
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup cracker crumbs
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted


Heat oven to 375° F. In large bowl, mix together first 8 ingredients. Pour this mixture into a greased 1 1/2 -quart shallow baking dish. Sprinkle top with cracker crumbs mixed with 2 tablespoons butter or margarine. Bake, covered, for 45 minutes.
