1 pound semisweet chocolate morsels
1 pound light caramels
1/2 pound peanut butter morsels
1 (1-pound) package pecan halves, divided

Melt chocolate morsels. In a separate pan, slowly melt caramels; when partially melted, add peanut butter morsels. Mix thoroughly. Add 3/4 of pecans to caramel/peanut butter mixture. Alternate drops of chocolate, then caramel mixture, then chocolate; top with pecan half. Works best if dropped onto wax paper.

Fun Fact: Approximately 40% of the total peanuts produced in the United States are grown within a 100-mile radius of Dothan, Alabama. The National Peanut Festival takes place there every November. A giant, gold peanut sculpture at the Visitor Information Center helps to proclaim Dothan as Peanut Capital of the World.
