1/2 cup butter real, softened
2/3 cup flour
1/3 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon lemon peel grated
1/8 teaspoon ginger ground
Heat oven to 350° F. Combine ingredients in bowl with pastry blender or fork, blending until crumbly and well mixed. Form into 1-inch balls; place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Press with a cookie stamp or flatten with the tines of a fork. Bake for 20 minutes or until set and pale gold.
