1 1/2-Pound Recipe
_ cup water
_ tablespoons honey
_ tablespoons margarine or butter, softened
_ 1/2 cups bread flour
_ 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
_ tablespoons dry milk powder
_ teaspoon ground cinnamon
_ 1/2 teaspoons salt
_ teaspoons yeast
Make 1 ½ Pound Recipe with bread machines that use 3 cups flour, or make 2 Pound Recipe with bread machines that use 4 cups flour.
Measure carefully, placing all ingredients in bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer.
Select Whole Wheat or Basic/White cycle. Use Medium or Light crust color. Do not use delay cycles. Remove baked bread from pan, and cool on wire rack.

SUCCESS TIP: Cinnamon has a property that tends to absorb moisture in bread, so measure the ground cinnamon carefully rather than guessing the amount. Also, check the dough after about 5 minutes of kneading. If the dough looks too dry and a soft ball isn't forming, add water, 1 teaspoon at a time.
TRY THIS: Leftover cinnamon-flavored bread makes wonderful bread pudding. You can leave the cinnamon out of the pudding recipe because it is already baked in the bread. For a flavor twist, use dried cranberries or cherries for the raisins. Or add nuts instead of the raisins, and serve with warm maple syrup.
