Maple-Pecan Waffles

Ingredients

4 eggs
4 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups maple syrup
1 cup margarine or butter, , melted
1/4 cup chopped pecan
2 tablespoons baking powder
Date butter
DATE BUTTER
1/2 cup margarine or butter
1/4 cup chopped dates

Directions:

MAPLE-PECAN WAFFLES
1. Spray nonstick waffle iron with nonstick cooking spray heat waffle iron.
2. Beat eggs until fluffy in large bowl beat in remaining ingredients except Date Butter just until smooth.
3. Pour batter from cup or pitcher onto center of hot waffle iron. (Waffle irons vary in size check manufacturer's directions for recommended amount of batter.) Close lid of waffle iron.
4. Bake until steaming stops, about 5 minutes. Remove waffle carefully. Serve with Date Butter

DATE BUTTER
Mix margarine and dates in small bowl until well blended.
