Spicy Cheesy Beans and Rice

Ingredients

1/2 cup instant rice
1/4 cup cooked and dehydrated kidney beans
1/4 cup freeze-dried okra
2 tablespoons Cheddar cheese powder
1 tablespoon powdered milk
1 packet Tabasco sauce
1 tablespoon (or 1 packet) olive oil
1 cup water

Directions:

AT HOME:
1. Pack dry ingredients in sealable bag; tuck in Tabasco and olive oil.

AT CAMP:
1. Bring water and oil to boil; add dry ingredients.

2. Remove from heat; cover tightly and let sit for 10 min; add Tabasco sauce.

Fun Fact: To protect your feet from blisters, smear soap on the inside of your inner sock at the heel and underneath the toes.
