Breakfast Scramble


Serves: 5
Total Calories: 65

Ingredients

3 1/2 cups instant mashed potatoes
1 cup freeze-dried egg (w/bacon optional)
3 cups water
2 tablespoons powdered milk
Cheddar cheese (optional)

Directions:

AT HOME:
1. Combine all dry ingredients and place into Ziploc freezer bag.

2. If using cheese, add to separate bag.

IN CAMP:
1. Heat water in pot; bring to a boil.

2. Add ingredients in freezer bag.

3. Let sit 5 minutes.

4. Top with cheese.

Fun Fact: Breakfast is the most important meal on the trail. It provides the majority of energy for the day.
