Caramel Sauce


Serves: 6

Ingredients

2 cups brown sugar
1 cup corn syrup
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup butter

Directions:

Combine sugar, syrup, butter and milk in saucepan. Bring to a boil on high heat, stirring constantly. Lower to medium heat and continue cooking for 5 minutes or until a small amount dropped in cold water forms a soft ball. Remove from heat and add vanilla.

NOTE: Use remaining sauce as a dip for apples or ice cream topping.
