2 pounds pork spareribs, cut into serving pieces
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Salt and pepper
1 quart sauerkraut
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1-1/2 cups water
Heat oil in cooker. Add ribs and brown evenly. Season with salt and pepper. Pour sauerkraut over ribs and sprinkle with brown sugar. Add water. Lock lid and bring to full pressure. Adjust heat to maintain pressure and cook for 15 minutes. Quick-release pressure.
