Alphabet Soup

Ingredients

1/2 pound beef stew meat cubed
1 (14 1/2-ounce) can stewed tomatoes with liquid
1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
1 cup water
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 (10-ounce) package frozen mixed vegetables partially thawed
1/2 cup uncooked alphabet pasta

Directions:

Combine meat, tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, and soup mix in greased 3 1/2 to 5-quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on low heat 6-8 hours. A half hour before serving, stir in vegetables and noodles. Cover and cook on high heat for 30 minutes. Add more water if mixture is too dry or too thick. Makes 4-6 servings.

Serve with oyster soup crackers.
