Cabbage and Beef Casserole

2 pounds lean ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
2 tablespoons brown sugar
salt and pepper to taste
2 (14-ounce) cans tomatoes, cut up
1 medium cabbage, chopped
Parmesan cheese


In a large skillet, brown ground beef with onion, brown sugar, and salt and pepper to taste. Add tomatoes. Add chopped cabbage. Bring to a boil, and simmer for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
