Stuffed Burgers

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds ground beef

Filling:
1 (2 1/4-ounce) can chopped black olives
1 green pepper, chopped
1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
1 small bunch green onions, chopped (including tops)
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
hamburger bun and condiments

Directions:

Divide beef into 8 parts and shape into patties (do not squeeze all the juice from the beef).

Filling:
In a bowl mix together all ingredients except buns and condiments. Place a generous portion of filling on top of 4 single patties. Cover each with the remaining 4 patties, pressing the edges of each to secure the filling. Grill, barbeque, or broil the burgers to desired doneness.

Serve each Stuffed Burger on large hamburger buns with assorted condiments.
