Corn Cake

Ingredients

1 (16-ounce) can cream-style corn
1/2 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 cup oil
1 tablespoon baking powder
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Frosting:
4 tablespoons margarine
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup milk
2 - 3 cups powdered sugar

Directions:

Mix corn and sugar. Add eggs and oil. Beat well. Mix dry ingredients; add and mix well. Stir in raisins and nuts. Put in sprayed 9x13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 30–35 minutes. Cool well.

Frosting:
Bring margarine and sugar to a boil over medium heat. Take from heat; stir in milk. Stir in powdered sugar. Frost cooled cake.
