BLT Salad |
|
Serves: 4
Imagine a classic BLT. Now deconstruct it into its basic elements--bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo, toast. You got it? Good! Now turn the toast into croutons and toss it all together in a salad bowl. That’s all there is to it.
FOR THE DRESSING:
1/3 cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons bottled French salad dressing
FOR THE SALAD:
2 (8-ounce) packages Romaine lettuce salad mix
2 ripe medium tomatoes, each cut into 8 wedges
4 strips ready-to-serve precooked bacon, crisped and broken into small pieces
1 1/2 cups seasoned croutons (about 2 ounces)
