Mexico City Earthquake Cake

Ingredients

1 cup coconut
1 cup chopped pecans
1 box German chocolate cake mix
1/2 cup soft margarine
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 (16-ounce) package powdered sugar

Directions:

Spray a 9x13-inch baking pan. Layer coconut and pecans. Prepare cake mix according to package directions; pour over coconut and nut mixture. Mix margarine, cream cheese, vanilla, and powdered sugar. Spoon over cake batter. Bake in preheated 350° oven for 40-50 minutes.
