Northwest Huckleberry Pie

Ingredients

1 (9-inch) pie crust, unbaked

Filling:
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
5 cups peeled, cored, and thinly sliced tart apples
1 cup huckleberries or blueberries
------------------------------
Topping:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup butter, cut into pieces
1/2 cup brown sugar

Directions:

Press pie crust into a 9-inch pie plate and flute edges. Combine Filling ingredients and place in pie crust. Combine topping ingredients and mix until crumbly. Sprinkle over pie filling. Bake at 375° for 50 minutes. Cover with aluminum foil for the last 10 minutes if top browns too quickly.
