Melt butter with sugar in top of a double boiler; stir in eggs. Heat over boiling water 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in flour and pecans. Transfer to a greased 9x13-inch baking pan. Bake at 325° for 30 minutes.
Fun Fact: Don’t have a double boiler? You can make one yourself by simply putting a stainless steel bowl over a pot of gently boiling water.
