Fruit Salad with Cottage Cheese

Ingredients

Fruit Sauce:
1/2 cup preserves (peach, pineapple, plum)
1 tablespoon white vinegar
2 tablespoons apple juice

Salad:
4 cups torn romaine lettuce
2 fresh peaches, peeled, sliced (or canned)
1 pear, peeled, sliced (or canned)
2 cups small-curd cottage cheese
pinch of salt
4 maraschino cherries for garnish

Directions:

Arrange lettuce on 4 salad plates. Spoke fruit on top of lettuce, alternating peaches and pears. Spoon cottage cheese in center. Drizzle with warmed Fruit sauce. Garnish with cherries.
