Trish's First Night At Talmaks' Soup

1 (9-ounce) package Green Giant Harvest Cut Fresh frozen broccoli, thawed before preparation
6 cups water
3 (10 3/4-ounce) cans condensed chicken broth
1 (10 3/4-ounce) can cream of chicken soup
2 cups cubed precooked chicken
1 cup chopped onion
1 package baby carrots (small)
2 cloves garlic
1/2 cup dry vermouth or water
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1 (7-ounce) package cheese tortellini
grated Parmesan cheese


Bring all ingredients, except tortellini and broccoli, to boil.

Add tortellini and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes. Add broccoli and simmer an additional 10 minutes. Serve with parmesan cheese to taste.
