Black Bean Chili


Serves: 4

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef or any ground meat
1 small onion, chopped
2 or 3 cloves garlic, minced
1 (19-ounce) can condensed black bean soup
1 (15-ounce) can black beans, drained
1 cup medium or hot chunky salsa
1 1/2 cups water

Directions:

Brown meat, onion, and garlic. Drain off fat. Stir in soup, beans, salsa, and water. At home, bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 15-20 minutes. In camp, prepare in a Dutch oven. Cover and set the Dutch in the firepan with 6-8 briquets underneath and 14-16 on the lid and cook for 15-20 minutes. May garnish with green onions, sour cream, cheese, or cilantro.
