1 loaf French bread, sliced
3 to 4 eggs
4 cups of milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
4 cups corn flakes, crushed
maple syrup, or other favorite topping

Put the corn flakes in a self-sealing container and crush with a rolling pin. This can also be done on a sheet of waxed paper or aluminum foil. Place the crushed corn flakes in a bowl for dipping. Crack the eggs into a separate large bowl. Add the milk, vanilla, and spices. Dip the bread into the milk mixture to coat the bread. Then roll the bread into the corn flakes. Fry the French toast on a griddle until golden brown on both sides. Serve with butter, syrup or your favorite topping.
