Variations: Add green pepper or top with tomato or barbecue sauce. A thick, spicy topping is especially tasty with mild-flavored turkey.


   1/4 pound lean ground beef or turkey
   3 tablespoons rolled oats or bread crumbs
   2 tablespoons skim milk
   1 tablespoon onions, diced or 1 tsp. dried onion flakes
   1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
   1/4 teaspoon pepper


1. Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Press into a microwave-safe flat bottomed bowl.

2. Microwave on MEDIUM HIGH (70% power) for 3-3 1/2 minutes or until meat is firm. Let stand 2 minutes.

Balance with lower-fat dished on days you use this recipe.
