 4 cups sugar
 6 cups water
 5 bananas, ripe, peeled and mashed
 2 1/2 cups orange juice
 4 cups pineapple juice
 1/2 cup lemon juice
 2 12-ounce cans lemon-lime soda
 
 
 Combine sugar and water in saucepan and heat till sugar is dissolved. Cool. Mash bananas and combine with orange juice, pineapple juice, lemon juice, and sugar syrup. Pour into shallow pan and freeze. When ready to serve, remove from freezer to thaw slightly. Break into chunks and fill cups two-thirds full. Pour carbonated lemon-lime beverage over slush. Garnish each serving with a maraschino cherry or sprig of holly. Makes 25 half-cup servings.
