   _ cup mayonnaise real
   ___ cup buttermilk
   ___ teaspoon garlic minced
   ___ teaspoon basil dried basil leaves, crushed
   ___ teaspoon salt
   ___ teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
   Cauliflower or broccoli flowerets, whole mushrooms and green pepper strips

In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, buttermilk, garlic, basil, salt and pepper until well blended. Cover and chill for 30 minutes.

Serve with vegetables.
