Cucumbers And Sour Cream

1 cucumber pared and sliced
1 onion medium, peeled and sliced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 or 2 drop hot sauce
1 teaspoon dill weed dried or to taste
Freshly ground pepper to taste


Place cucumber and onion in bowl sprinkle with salt and let stand 30 minutes. Drain. Rinse. Combine sour cream, vinegar, Tabasco®, dill weed, and pepper. Pour over cucumber-onion mixture stir. Chill 30 minutes before serving.
