1 cucumber pared and sliced
1 onion medium, peeled and sliced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 or 2 drops hot sauce
1 teaspoon dill weed dried or to taste
Freshly ground pepper to taste
Place cucumber and onion in bowl; sprinkle with salt and let stand 30 minutes. Drain. Rinse. Combine sour cream, vinegar, Tabasco®, dill weed, and pepper. Pour over cucumber-onion mixture; stir. Chill 30 minutes before serving.
