FOOD for THOUGHT
Pasta, derived from wheat, is an easy carbohydrate source of energy. You begin breaking down carbohydrates to extract the energy they provide as soon as they enter your mouth. That's why we call carbohydrates a fast energy source.

"This is a great comfort food, and easy enough for my daughter to prepare when she got home from school, especially if it was ready to pop into the oven. She would add soft bread (I couldn't get hard bread down), and a salad, and our meal was complete." -ANNE R.
