Country Chicken (Frango caipira)


Serves: 4

Ingredients

1 chicken cut up
1 clove crushed garlic
1 onion finely chopped
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 tablespoons cooking oils
1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
3 chopped tomatoes
2 tablespoons butter
1 green bell pepper

Directions:

Marinate chicken for one half hour in garlic, onion, lemon juice.

Fry chicken in cooking oil until golden. Add the seasonings the chicken has been marinating in.

Add cilantro and chopped tomato.

Cover and let cook over low heat until tender. Add butter and bell pepper.

Continue cooking until tender.
