Easy Eggnog Bread

Ingredients

3 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 1/2 cups eggnog
3/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
3/4 cup candied fruit

Directions:

In large mixing bowl, sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg. Combine egg, butter, and eggnog. Add to dry ingredients; stir until thoroughly mixed. Add nuts and fruits. Bake in greased loaf pan 60–70 minutes at 350°. Cool on wire rack.
