Best-Ever Chili

Ingredients

9 pounds lean beef, chopped
3 quarts water
3 (16-ounce) cans tomatoes
6 medium onions, chopped
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon garlic powder
10 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon cumin
1 tablespoon marjoram
9 tablespoons paprika
3 tablespoons salt
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
6 - 12 tablespoons cornmeal

Directions:

Brown beef lightly in large nonstick saucepan; drain. Add water, tomatoes, and onions. Simmer for 1–1 1/2 hours. Add sugar, garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, marjoram, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper; mix well. Simmer for 45 minutes. Stir in cornmeal 1 tablespoon at a time, simmering until of desired consistency.
