Onion Sausage Sticks

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups finely chopped onions (Idaho-Eastern Oregon)
1/2 pound bulk pork sausage, fried and drained
1/3 cup sausage drippings or vegetable oil
1 cup buttermilk baking mix
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 eggs, beaten
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons minced parsley

Directions:

Combine onions with remaining ingredients. Spread into greased 9x13-inch baking pan. Bake at 350° for 20–25 minutes or until golden. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting into sticks.
