Rio Grande Green Pork Chili

Ingredients

3 pounds boneless pork steak, cubed
1 clove garlic, minced
3 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 (14 1/2-ounce) cans beef broth
1 (32-ounce) can tomato juice
1 (14 1/2-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
1 (7-ounce) can diced green chiles
1 (4-ounce) can chopped jalapeño pepper
1/3 cup dried parsley
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

Directions:

In a heavy skillet over medium heat, sauté pork and garlic in oil. Add flour, stirring until thoroughly mixed. Drain; transfer browned pork to a slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low setting for 6 to 8 hours, until pork is tender.
