Yogurt in the Kitchen

I have been researching how to change my life for the past six months and have begun looking at the way my family and I eat. My husband is in the process of retiring after 32 years service to his country and we are on a limited income. Your Yogurt in the Kitchen article was one of the most informative and concise articles around on yogurt cheese.

I've put together a booklet I can keep with my recipes for ease of access to document my progress and recipe changes. The component for yogurt is already 8 pages so far and increasing with each attempt.

I am very excited about the potential of yogurt cheese and plan on turning my kitchen into a taste testing zone tomorrow when my next batch of yogurt cheese will be ready to test. I will lure my first subject into the kitchen and once I have distracted him with my wit and sparkling personality, I will assault him with my latest concoctions. I will plan it just before supper when he is sure to be hungry. I am so very very sneaky.

All I have to say is thank you for posting this for us. I really appreciate your time.

Hi Jen,

Thank you for your great feedback. I wrote that article back in 2002 or 2003 so I'm glad to see it still helps cooks. I hope your family enjoys your cheese. I love cooking with yogurt. The best feeling is knowing I made it myself... especially when it's a cheesecake made from yogurt cheese.

Good luck in making the changes that will better your family. Even little progress is progress. I hope they appreciate your efforts to keep them healthy and happy.

Happy Cook'n,
