Apricot Oat Breakfast

Ingredients

2 cups long-cooking oats, uncooked
1/3 cup slivered almonds
3/4 cup dried apricot, chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups orange juice
1 cup water
1/4 cup honey
optional: milk

Directions:

Combine oats, nuts, dried apricots and salt together in a large bowl; set aside. Whisk together orange juice, water and honey; add to oat mixture. Refrigerate, covered, for 8 hours to overnight. Serve cold, or if desired, topped with milk.


When decorating the Christmas tree, keep extra-special ornaments at eye level and above. Then, place unbreakable ornaments on lower branches...an ideal solution for curious little ones and pets too!
