'50s Fruit Salad Smoothie

Ingredients

2 apples cored and chopped, peeled or not
2 fresh peaches pitted, peeled or not
1 frozen banana peeled
1 cup seedless grapes or frozen grape juice concentrate
2 cups frozen orange juice concentrate
1 cup ice (if using fresh fruit)

Directions:

Blend everything well and serve in frosted mugs, perhaps with a sprig of fresh mint. Enjoy!

VARIATIONS
Add honey or maple syrup to taste, or try a pinch of nutmeg or cardamom.
Strange as it may sound, just a drop of balsamic vinegar will bring out more of the natural sugars and make the fruit taste sweeter. Don’t use too much, as you don’t want the fruit to taste vinegary. You can mix it with 1?2 teaspoon vanilla.
Substitute 1 cup applesauce for the apples.
Add 1 cup coconut milk, almond (or other) milk, or ice cream.
